Stainless steel fermentation, little sulfites (freshness, lightness).
Why Vinolok™
The concept underlying the wines produced by Vino Hort winery is to convey a sense of lightness, freshness, and playfulness. The design of the packaging is instrumental in conveying the desired message to the consumer, with the glass closure playing a pivotal role in supporting this, and in maintaining the wine’s fruitiness and freshness. The technical properties and design options of the glass closure are in alignment with the overarching concept.
About
Vino Hort winery, founded in 1999 by Jiří Hort, is a family winery located in Hodonice, in South Moravia. Despite its relatively recent establishment, it has gained prominence for its exceptional rosé wines. Jiří Hort, a pioneer in Czech rosé production, played a crucial role in popularizing these wines, and was involved in creating the first Moravian appellation, VOC.
Beginning
Mr Hort has been engaged in the monitoring of Vinolok™ since its inception. However, it was not until 2012, when the 4-blade sealing ring was developed, that he elected to test the efficacy of the glass closure. At that time, he presented a new design concept for his wine, and he was aware that Vinolok™ would be an appropriate choice to complement the packaging.
Experience
The glass closure has been an integral component of some of the wines produced by Vino Hort. The design of the bottles with Vinolok™ has previously been recognised, but Mr Hort considers the most significant advantage of the closure, beyond the design, to be the reduction in the need for sulfites.

I consider Vinolok™ to be the most suitable closure for alternative and organic wines, as it enables to keep them in optimal and fresh condition.
